Google today took the wraps off its highly anticipated Pixel 10 lineup, introducing three new models: the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and the more durable Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The phones are defined by the new Tensor G5 chip and a suite of AI features headlined by the proactive “Magic Cue” assistant.
Magic Cue is designed to make your phone smarter by connecting your personal data in helpful ways. It can automatically display your booking information from Gmail when you call a travel company or suggest cafes and show your calendar availability when you’re making plans over text. This all happens securely on the device itself.
Photography enthusiasts will be drawn to the significant camera improvements. The Pixel 10 adds a 5x telephoto lens, creating a versatile triple-camera setup. The Pixel 10 Pro pushes this further with a 48MP camera offering 10x optical zoom. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold, now with IP68 water resistance, shares a similar powerful camera system with the standard model.
Google also refreshed its accessory line. The Pixel Watch 4 integrates Gemini as a personal health and fitness coach and adds satellite SOS for off-grid emergencies. The new Pixel Buds 2a make noise cancellation and Gemini more affordable, featuring a repair-friendly design with a replaceable battery in the charging case. The Pixel 10 starts at $799 and ships on August 28th.
