Ervine contributed 59 runs before being dismissed by Nathan Ellis, while Raza added 57 before Spencer Johnson took his wicket, stalling Zimbabwe’s chase.
Nathan Ellis was instrumental in dismantling Zimbabwe’s lower order, finishing with impressive bowling figures of 5-31 from 9.1 overs. His performance was crucial in securing Australia’s victory as they now look ahead to the second ODI, which is set to take place in Harare on Friday, followed by the final match on Sunday.
