During an official visit to Singapore, Vietnamese leader Trần Cẩm Tú engaged in discussions with Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam to enhance their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The meeting underscored the robust development in economic, trade, and investment relations, with a particular focus on sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, finance, and high technology.

The leaders reached a consensus on expanding collaboration in emerging fields. Key areas identified for growth include artificial intelligence, digital transformation, semiconductors, data centres, clean energy, green finance, and human resource development. This strategic expansion aims to align with global trends and foster innovation within both nations.

Both sides stressed the significance of maintaining regular high-level exchanges and fostering closer cooperation among government agencies, businesses, and local authorities.
