Vietnam’s National Assembly President Trần Thanh Mẫn, accompanied by his spouse, is set to embark on a significant diplomatic mission, leading a high-level delegation to South Korea and Mongolia. This official journey, scheduled from September 6 to 11, reflects Vietnam’s ongoing efforts to bolster parliamentary ties and enhance collaborative initiatives with these two nations.
The delegation’s visit comes at the invitation of prominent legislative leaders from both countries. In South Korea, the delegation will be hosted by National Assembly Speaker Cho Jeong-sik. This leg of the trip aims to further cement the robust relationship between Vietnam and South Korea, focusing on legislative collaboration and mutual interests.
Following the visit to South Korea, Trần Thanh Mẫn and his delegation will proceed to Mongolia, where they will engage with Sandag Byambatsogt, Chairman of the State Great Hural. The meetings in Mongolia are anticipated to open new avenues for cooperation, emphasizing the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening bilateral ties.
